My name is Pauline. I have gained a bachelor’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and Linguistics from Liberty University, USA. For a short while, I was teaching at their English Language Institute. Once I had many international students and it was a very interesting experience. A few years ago, I came back to Hong Kong with my husband to stay. Ever since then, I have been teaching English in a local primary school. It was a new and strange experience for me but I like it. Last year, I was so honored to be promoted to be the English vice panel chairperson at my school. Being in this position has helped me to see the big picture of English language teaching in Hong Kong. This year, I have decided to study for my master’s degree because I want to improve my skills and gain more knowledge in my profession.
